In July 2010 a week long Cultural Village youth camp is planned with the main project being "Living in the Countryside – is no Shame". To prepare themselves, the participants need to think about how they would change their own village, in order to continue and enjoy living there.
‘Youth in Action’ primarily promotes exchanges between young people from different European countries and for this project, Kirchheim have applied to the EU (under "Action 1, Youth for Europe Action 1.1 Youth") for funding.
The program aims to promote active citizenship of young people in order to develop solidarity, tolerance and mutual understanding between the youth of these different countries.
It also promotes the development of Youth Support systems and the European co-operation for youth policy. For more information please visit
